Inspiration in Barcelona: ARTuR at Barcelona Contemporary 2025

Barcelona, October 17–27, 2025 — The vibrant city of Barcelona hosted the international art exhibition Barcelona Contemporary 2025, organized by the ITSLIQUID Group. Bringing together artists from over twenty countries, the event showcased a wide range of disciplines — from painting and sculpture to video art and performance. Among the participants was the artist and poet ARTuR (Arli Rakhima), who presented two deeply contemplative works: “Creative Flow” and “Being in the Moment.”
The Art of Presence
The exhibition, held at ITSLIQUID Art Space – Barcelona, explored the notions of identity, perception, and inner transformation. Within this context, ARTuR’s works became a striking emotional point of resonance.
His painting “Creative Flow” is a visual reflection of inspiration itself — a state where the artist dissolves completely in the act of creation, allowing the rhythm of life to express itself through color and motion. The piece radiates energy and serenity, symbolizing the unity between human consciousness, nature, and time.
The second painting, “Being in the Moment”, continues this dialogue in a more meditative way. It conveys stillness and awareness, a gentle reminder of the importance of mindfulness and presence. This artwork remained in Barcelona, becoming part of the city’s creative landscape — a bridge between East and West, stillness and movement.
A Dialogue of Cultures and Meanings
Among the multitude of international voices represented at the exhibition, ARTuR’s paintings stood out for their philosophical depth and luminous expressiveness. His art does not merely tell stories — it invites introspection. Each work becomes an encounter, guiding the viewer toward their own inner space of freedom and light.
Barcelona — the city of Gaudí and fluid forms — proved to be an ideal setting for this exploration. In its play of architecture, light, and rhythm, ARTuR’s canvases resonated with both the environment and the audience. The fact that one of his works stayed in the city feels symbolic — as if the moment of artistic presence itself found a home there.
Significance and Continuity
ARTuR’s participation in Barcelona Contemporary 2025 marked another important milestone in his international journey. Following exhibitions in London — at the Embassy of Kyrgyzstan and Boomer Gallery — as well as online showcases on KITERA|SPACE, this event further expanded his artistic geography. His paintings traveled more than 7,000 kilometers to reach Barcelona — and one of them will remain there, continuing its dialogue with the world.
ARTuR (Arli Rakhima) is an artist and poet whose work explores themes of inner light, motion, and spiritual harmony. His paintings combine the intuitive philosophy of the East with the contemporary aesthetics of European art, creating a unique language of presence and transformation.
